In developing world two-third of the population do not have access to clean drinking water.
Did you also know?
The biggest obstacle which is stopping these communities from progression is lack of access to clean drinking water. After drinking dirty water many people will contract water-borne diseases and will either lose their lives or become ill for life.
Poverty is Directly linked to Lack of Clean Drinking Water
Yes, this is a fact. The poorer you are, less the access you will have to clean drinking water. We don’t need to show you a report or a documentary to prove this. Most of us have visited Pakistan, Bangladesh, India or parts of middle east, there is millions of people who are still drinking water from the sources, us living western countries wouldn’t even think of washing our hands or utensils.
What is the solution?
The first and the most effective solution is to reduce pollution and invest in projects to natural water sources. Install industrial scale water filtration solutions. Install new water pipelines to provide each house with clean drinking water.
However, there is one problem!
All this can only be done by a government. Sadly, we as a charity or individuals can do little about this.
What can we do?
We can build water wells and dig water pumps for the poor & needy to allow them access to underground natural water sources.
We can also install water filtration plants to provide clean drinking water to communities across Pakistan.
Where there is no access to underground clean drinking water, like parts of Yemen, Syrian and Gaza
We can sponsor water tankers to supply clean drinking water on daily basis.
Building Water Wells is an act of Sadaqah Jariyah
The Prophet (PBUH) described providing drinking water as the best charity.
A pump or a well is a Sadaqah Jariyah; when you provide a water pump or well to a poor & needy family, you reap the rewards for years to come.
For every water project we’ll install a plaque in the names you provided to us at the time of donating the well. Our plaque will have our name, your name and the location.
Water is one of the most important necessities of human life, but unfortunately, millions of people are trapped in a cycle of poverty and disease due to not having access to clean drinking water.
