Brackish Water

Brackish water is water with a chloride content of more than that of freshwater. Although it has more salt than freshwater, the chloride content isn’t as high as seawater. It is a result of the mixture of fresh water with seawater. Although it is a bit salty, brackish water is safe for drinking and can rehydrate your body and save you from dehydration thanks to its high sodium chloride content.
