SAN ANGELO, TX – Although it is not official yet, city officials have hope in putting an end to the boil water notice in San Angelo on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the City of San Angelo’s Water Utilities Director Allison Strube, on Feb. 22, over 50 water samples from across town have been collected and tested.

If all the samples return uncontaminated then the majority of citizens will be able to start using water again without boiling it.

“We are hoping sometime around lunch or after lunch tomorrow depending on what time all of the samples come back,” said Strube. “Hopefully we get everything tested this afternoon and we will be looking for sometime tomorrow afternoon with rescinding it. (the boil water notice)”

Be safe and make sure to boil your water or consider buying a water filtration system like the AquaOx Water Filter.
