WATER FILTRATION PLANT - 3D Animation

The 3D video gives an exhaustive and immediate visual description of the two processes which take place in a waste water treatment plant. The dirty water is collected in a pit and then pumped to the deep cone thickener silo, where the clarification process takes place. The flocculant is injected halfway up the pipe which carries the dirty water. The flocculant is a polyelectolite that helps the sedimentation of the mud at the bottom of the deep cone thickener silo. When the mud has reached the right thickness, it is discharged into the homogenizer tank which keep it at the right density while the water is collected in a clean water concrete pit or steel tank. The feeding pump then will send the mud to the filter press, where the filtration process takes place. The sludge fills the chambers between the plates up, and the cloth and the high pressure will shape the dry cakes that will be discharged only when there is no water left to dry.
