Today is a simple DIY video on changing the water filter on a GE side-by-side fridge. This video was filmed on GE model: GSS25IYNBHFS.

Not all water filters are the same. Best to read the info and verify if NSF 42 and 372 certifications. Some will filter out more chemicals like VOCs, THM, copper and chlorine and some will do more or less. Please don’t just look at the price when purchasing only. Generally the water filter lasts about 6 months.

GE fridge model have a very simple design for replacing the water filter. In this video, I’ll walk thru the how-to step to change the water filter.

This is our 2nd update on our whole house rainwater filtration system running 100% off grid meaning off solar. Perfect for an system. Can by within a City or even out a cabin totally off-grid. Rainwater is your best source for drinking water out there. 3 stage filtration get 99% of sediments removed on top the carbon filter reduces any chlorine you might had added to your rainwater to kill off any bacteria. Better would be UV light at the end of the loop to be added. For now we do use chlorine but longer term we will also be adding the bigger UV light which also run’s of 12DC like the pump itself. Both Solar Panels charge a deep-cycle battery so it’s setup for long term.

Hi friends , in this video I’ve briefly explained the working and functioning of the Blue Star Pristina UV Water Purifier.
– It uses UV technology to provide safe and healthy purified water.
– It is not an RO purifier, and hence suitable for municipal water only, (not suitable for bore well water).
