How to Make a FREE and Simple DIY Garden Water Filter

How to Make a FREE and Simple DIY Garden Water Filter

If you are a gardener that is worried about using water on your garden,
maybe from rainwater, or from your tap, this filter will eliminate
around 75% of the pollutants in your water. If you are very worried, a
commercial filter will work as well and a water test will help you find
out more. This filter is free, and efective. We recommend only using
this on your garden and NOT to filter water that you intend on
drinking.
NOTE: this is not for houshold use, but is intended for filtering water
for application outside.

501CTHREE’s first deployed project is The Water Box – a low cost portable water filtration system in Flint, Michigan. 501CTHREE partnered with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of Flint who has been on the front lines of Flint’s Water crisis since 2014. The device, already in service at the church, significantly reduces lead and other contaminants from the city water at a rate of 10 gallons per minute and is free to the community.

The residents of Flint need water jugs sent to them through the church. You can donate a jug at https://www.501cthree.org/
