Brita On Tap Faucet Water Filtration System
Enjoy pure-tasting water with BRITA faucet filtration system.
Tighten the mounting collar by hand.
The mounting collar should be snug, but avoid over-tightening it since doing so could cause damage.
When you are buying Brita faucet filtration system, verify the edges of the filter cartridge.
Insert the filter cartridge into the filter cup.
This Brita faucet system included 2 filter cartridges: one was good, another had a defect- the edges molded tilted so it does not glide into the cup smoothly causing water leak.
Once the filter cartridge has been engaged, the filter replacement indicator should reset itself and turn on. You should see a green flashing light.

EWG states ceramic filters cannot remove chemical contaminants, though the lab results (if genuine) posted on the sites selling ceramic filters states otherwise.
Also, as you’re shopping, keep in mind there’s a difference between water purification (removes bacteria, viruses, cysts, parasites, etc to make it safe to drink) and filtration (theoretically removes chemicals, heavy metals, and other particulate contamination to make it “clean”).
