Hi. Primitive technology with survival skills builds a water filter tank part 3 is our next video. In this video we finished building a water filter tank. By the primitive technology we have filtered clean water from the tank, initially we make charcoal then go to streams for sand and stones. Charcoal can eliminate toxins and bacteria, rocks and sand that cleanse water. We let the charcoal make the first layer followed by stone and sand, large stones at the top. 501CTHREE’s first deployed project is The Water Box – a low cost portable water filtration system in Flint, Michigan. 501CTHREE partnered with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church of Flint who has been on the front lines of Flint’s Water crisis since 2014. The device, already in service at the church, significantly reduces lead and other contaminants from the city water at a rate of 10 gallons per minute and is free to the community.

TDS & pH Testing the ZIP RO Water Filter! (Part 2)

In my last video I covered why I believe the ZIP Reverse Osmosis Zero Installation Purifier was the best countertop water filter on the market and why I chose it for my home and family.

I took a couple of months to use and get to know the machine so that I can give a better review of my experience with the ZIP filter.

In this video I tested water filtered using the ZIP against tap water, left over ZIP water (concentrated dirty water on the bottom tank), bottled Reverse Osmosis water, and a high pH alkaline bottled water. (Results in video)

My conclusion:
After testing I firmly believe the ZIP water filter is the best choice for water purification for my household. I love how convenient it is and it is great to know we are drinking water free of contaminants. In addition, I love that this machine goes a step above most and has a post filter remineralization process that turns my RO filtered water into alkaline, mineral water! This is the only machine I have found on the market to have this option.

Why I LOVE the ZIP RO Water Filter:
• Requires zero installation (literally take it out of the box, plug it in, fill container with water and push the big button on the front)
• Portable/Countertop Unit- great for renters like us or people on the go who do not want to permanently install an expensive water purifier system to a place they will not be staying at.
• Reverse Osmosis technology which is the same process used by most of the expensive bottled water brands we used to purchase from
• The only RO system [I was able to find] that has a post-filter mineralization process that automatically reintroduces minerals back into the water which also alkalizes it. 👌🏼
• Very sleek and looks nice (this is more personal preference but I love the look of this machine)

Hi my names Mike and I live in Northern Sweden, Welcome to my channel! My videos cover Bushcraft, wilderness survival and outdoor skills, bushcraft gear like axes, knives, saws, backpacks, clothing systems, shelters and cooking gear. Fire lighting with natural tinders, fishing and hunting, slingshot hunting, ice fishing, mushroom identification and plant identification, catching and cooking wild game, foraging and cooking wild plants and mushrooms, wilderness cooking, weaving and basket making.
My Wife Megan and I also travel throughout northern europe overlanding in our modified 4×4 exploring wilderness tracks and roads. We left the UK almost one year ago to travel and relocate to the North of Sweden where we now live in a remote town surrounded by wilderness. Outside of our working lives we spend out time exploring the wilderness, ice fishing and regular fishing in the summer over lakes and rivers, we regularly hunt with rifles and shotguns for various bird species and we enjoy hiking and camping with our bushcraft kit but also further afield with our modified 4×4 and roof top tent.
